The first ever Kabayan was built in 2015 with the mission to bring the authentic culinary delights of the most beloved Filipino dishes to New York.
Hailing from Pampanga, the Culinary Capital of the Philippines, Kabayan owners Cherry Manuel Castellvi, Edwin Manuel, and Juliet Manuel channeled their Kapampangan-Filipino roots to bring the unique, nostalgic flavors of her home country to New York — which was met with absolute delight by Pinoys and locals alike.
In the span of 7 years, Kabayan is well on its way to becoming the staple Filipino brand in New York City. It has restaurants, grills, a bakery, turo-turo eateries, as well as food trucks ready to serve signature Filipino goodness that’s reminiscent of home.
