Café Grumpy Lower East Side opened in the Spring of 2011. Come in for a coffee then sit and relax on one of our benches outside.
This store had quite a history in the neighborhood as it used to be home to Zelig Blumenthal’s Judaica shop. We exposed the original brick walls (even uncovering two previously hidden windows) and kept the colorful tile floor intact.
