Sands of Persia

Abhi Malhotra, visionary car collector, entrepreneur, and founder of King Luxe Club, the leading luxury car club in the U.S. An upscale dessert and food lounge located in Long Island City (25-01 Steinway Street). Opened December 2021, Sands of Persia is Abhi’s venture, with a second three-story, 11,000 square foot location scheduled to open in 2022 in the Jumeira district of Dubai, UAE; to be followed by locations in London and Delhi.

The menu at Sands of Persia features signature items such as “Persimmon Wide” (persimmon tuile with almond crumble, truffle oil, yogurt, butternut squash, creme brulee, and balsamic vinegar honey gel); “Fingerlime Chiffon Meringue” (fingerlime yuzu cake, meringue, rosemary, orange mousse, lime gel); “For a Sheikh” (Turkish sand coffee affagato with gold leaf garnish); “Desert Sunset” (banana pudding with parle sugar jaggery); “Baklava” (baklava cone with pistachio and soft serve); “From India with Love” (soft serve with gulab jamun, dry fruits and nuts); “All is Well” (freshly baked sizzling brownie with soft serve). Savory options such as hummus platters served with crudites, pita and more, will also be served.
