The ultimate East Village cocktail bar, The Wayland is known for its expertly made cocktails, comforting food, live music and perpetual warm welcome.
Opened in 2012 by partners Robert Ceraso and Jason Mendenhall, their aim was to create a fun and unpretentious drinking establishment that would feel like a house party hosted at a friend’s country cabin. Almost a decade later, The Wayland remains “The Absolute Best Bar in the East Village” according to New York magazine’s Grub Street.
